Rainfall Survival
A 3D arena survival prototype. Neon rain, waves of enemies, one player. Built in Godot 4.

This build runs in your browser — give it a second to load.

What it is
Rain comes down over a neon arena and the waves keep coming. You survive between them. Keyboard and mouse, one player, no accounts — it runs in the browser and the page is the whole game.
It is a survival prototype, not a finished game. The loop works end to end; the content is deliberately thin.
The web build
It was a desktop project first. Two things made it a browser game.
Renderer. The desktop build runs on Forward+; the browser export is WebGL 2,
which is Godot’s Compatibility renderer, so the project was ported to
gl_compatibility. Neon glow survives; the wet-pavement reflections do not,
because screen-space reflections aren’t available there.
Size. The first browser export was 42 MB compressed. Measuring what actually ships — rather than what sits in the source tree — got it to 28.8 MB: the lossless normal and roughness maps turned out to be the biggest cost and 256px was plenty, plus smaller colour textures, 96 kbps Vorbis music, and a Chinese font subset. The build fails if it goes back over 30 MB.
Status
Survival prototype, desktop keyboard and mouse. Not a mobile game — there is no touch control scheme.
